The way you do anything

“The way you do anything, is the way you do everything.”

This is a motto that I live my life by. It means that the small tasks and aspects of life are just as important as those big events or people in my life. What I do in the back of the room, when no one is watching, is just as important as what I do if I’m on the stage presenting to a large group of people.

I work towards the goal that my habits, attitudes, and behaviors always line up and are consistent with what you would expect upon meeting me.

The Casey I am here, is the Casey I am everywhere.

Here’s some practical applications:

  1. If I approach a small task with care and dedication (completing some invisible work), then I will approach a larger project in the same manner (getting that big project).

  2. If I meet you when I’m in person, that is the exact same person driving by you on the highway. (no road rage here!)

  3. The person that my kids know, is the same one my friends or partner knows.

  4. Something new happens, do I keep trying to learn and grow, or do I shrink back?

Having an understanding of how your own personal values are impacting yourself, your relationships, and your work is key to having large scale change over time. This means stepping into a full understanding of who you are authentically, and what matters most to you. This is where coaching can help! If you are ready to discover what you truly value, and how that shows up, then let’s get to work!
